Using the app
The app helps you review your photo library and keep a daily journal. You choose which photos it may access and remain in control of your review decisions.
Free allowance and Pro
Writing your journal, auto pages, iCloud sync, tapping devices together and joining shared journals are free. Free access includes 50 keep or delete decisions per local day. One completed qualifying share adds 25 for that day, once per day. Undo refunds the original day's decision. Browsing, undo and confirming pending deletions stay available. Without Pro you can send 20 letters with up to 6 photos each, keep a letter for 7 or 60 days and have it open up to a month later, start up to two shared journals and make 3 journal videos. Writing back to a letter you got and letters to yourself never count toward the 20 letters. Pro is a non-consumable, one-time purchase that covers your iPhone and iPad; the App Store displays the actual price and handles purchase restoration, Family Sharing when available, and refunds.
Permanent invitation rewards
Each first confirmed invitation gives the inviter 200 extra reviews. They add up and never expire. Daily allowance is used first; Pro does not spend these rewards. Opening or sharing a link alone gives no invitation reward. Sign in to iCloud to confirm invitations and restore synced allowance. Offline changes sync later; unsynced records cannot be restored after deleting the app.
Gift credits and Pro offer codes
A gift code grants its displayed number of reviews to one iCloud account after you accept and save it. Gift codes and credits do not expire. Different gifts may be accepted by the same account without affecting invitations. Daily reviews come first; Pro does not spend permanent credits. Only unclaimed gifts can be cancelled by the sender. Pro offer codes are redeemed through Apple and have Apple's redemption deadline; redeeming one unlocks the same Pro as buying it, for good, subject to Apple's refund and revocation rules.
Your purchase and future services
This purchase permanently unlocks the current Pro benefits on your iPhone and iPad. Reviewing: no daily review limit and trip albums in one tap. Journal: every paper, sticker, ink and lettering style, unlimited journal videos, journal books as PDF and sharing without the PicLoom mark. Letters: unlimited letters, letters that keep and wait, 12 photos in every letter, unlimited shared journals and the Pro stamp. Look and identity: exclusive themes and app icons, and the Pro identity badge. Pay once and keep these benefits for good. Future optional services may be sold separately.
Free Pro trial
Each Apple Account can start one free 5-day Pro trial from the Pro page. It is a free App Store item: nothing is charged during or after it, and it never turns into a purchase. While it runs you have the current Pro benefits, with up to 20 letters. When it ends, Pro stops. What you made stays and can still be edited, including Pro paper, stickers, ink and fonts already on your pages; adding more of them needs Pro. Pro themes and app icons go back to the free ones.
Deleting photos
Swiping left marks an item for later removal. Review the pending items before confirming a batch deletion. iOS manages deletion and recovery in Recently Deleted, usually for up to 30 days; follow the information shown by the Photos app.
Generated content
Journal entries, recognition labels, and places can contain mistakes. Review generated content before relying on it or sharing it.
External services
Opening external links is optional. The linked site's own terms, privacy policy and availability apply.
