Photos arrive one at a time; each decision is one swipe. The gesture engine adds haptic ticks as you cross the activation line, so you can feel a decision take effect.

Every day deserves a few lines

Tap generate and PicLoom reads what's in the photos, finds where they were taken, checks the weather that day — then writes a short story in your language.

Apple's on-device model (Apple Intelligence) writes right on the phone; falls back to the template engine automatically when unavailable.

📝 Template

Rule-based text. Works on every iPhone, fully offline, fastest of the three.

☁️ Cloud bring your own key

Connect your own OpenAI-compatible service. The key lives in the device Keychain; text facts only by default — attaching photos needs a separate opt-in and confirmation.

Facts and stories are cached per day on device, so revisiting never re-requests weather or places. More detail in the post How the daily story gets written →

Home Screen widget

A sense of order, without opening the app

The widget reads a snapshot from the App Group — progress, streak, memories and the latest story — with shared review records and StoreKit verification for the keep action. Photo access and system deletion remain in the app. The small widget rotates through five moments a day; the medium one pairs a photo with your progress.
